Alan Burnett:
Alan has been a keen amateur photographer for over sixty years and has developed a special interest in old photographs. These range from the studio portraits of Victorian times, through to his own collection of monochrome negatives of West Yorkshire taken fifty or so years ago. He is also a keen blogger and has been sharing his love of images on-line via his various blogs and websites for over fifteen years.
Stephen Challenger:
Steve is also a keen amateur photographer starting back in the 1960s when he developed and printed his own photographs using his mother and father’s blacked out bathroom as a darkroom. He made the move to digital photography at the beginning of the new millennium. In the past, Steve has won awards for his images at the local photographic club and his work has been exhibited in the Huddersfield Art Gallery and in several annual exhibitions of the Yorkshire Photographic Union.
Ian Wrench:
Ian is also a keen amateur photographer. He studied photography in the late 60s at The London College of Printing and has spent most of his artistic life as a printmaker rather than photographer. He takes great enjoyment from recording aspects of life in all its detail with a camera but he has not been tempted to embrace the technical challenges of the digital age. These photographic images often provide a starting point for hand built prints. He has exhibited individually and as part of the contemporary print making group - Inkers - across the UK and internationally.
